The episode begins with Aradhana and Reyansh arguing about a cake. Reyansh teases Aradhana by putting cake on her face, and she does the same to him. They both playfully fight with the cake. Beena comes and scolds them for their behavior. Aradhana tells Beena that she wants to take the cake to Khanna’s mansion because she has the day off. Reyansh says she can’t take the day off because she has an important story to work on. They both go their separate ways, and Beena comments that they look cute when they fight.
Later, Reyansh gets a call from Vikram, who asks if he has wished Aradhana yet. Reyansh says he hasn’t but is planning something special. Vikram hopes that Reyansh doesn’t make Aradhana upset. Reyansh agrees and says it’s not easy to please her. Vikram also tells Reyansh to return to the office soon because Viren is unhappy with his idea. Reyansh agrees to go back to the office.
Pooja calls Aradhana to wish her a happy birthday and asks if anyone else has wished her. Aradhana remembers someone else wishing her and says yes with a smile. Pooja asks Aradhana to forgive her adoptive parents, but Aradhana says they are the ones who pushed her out of their lives. This makes both Pooja and Aradhana sad.
Meanwhile, Sunaina and Vikram decorate Aradhana’s office with balloons as per Reyansh’s instructions. Reyansh arrives, and Sunaina advises him to focus on convincing Aradhana to forgive him. She also asks why he upset Viren by going against his wishes. Vikram reminds Sunaina that Reyansh is known for his stubbornness. Reyansh says it’s his duty as a journalist to expose criminals, and that’s what he’s doing.
Pooja meets Bhakti and Jakruti with a cake to celebrate Aradhana’s birthday. They cut the cake and wish Aradhana. Pooja shows everything to Aradhana through a video call without their knowledge, making Aradhana happy and emotional.
Meanwhile, in Khanna’s house, Malini tries to persuade Kiki and Koko to go to the orphanage with her, but they refuse. Aradhana arrives with a cake for Kimaya and says it’s from Vikram (Reyansh). Kiki is impressed, and Malini praises him. Aradhana learns about Malini’s visit to the orphanage on this particular day every year. Malini accidentally reveals that she lost her first baby and tries to cover it up by saying she was talking about her pet pigeon. Aradhana gets shocked, and Viren arrives and questions Malini. She lies and says it was about her pet pigeon. Viren takes Aradhana with him, saying that Vikram (Reyansh) made a big mistake.
Later, Viren confronts Reyansh for going against his orders and publishing news about Anil Taneja, an investor in his business. Reyansh defends his actions and quits his position, shocking everyone. Viren hires Aradhana as the editor-in-chief. Aradhana wonders why she’s upset with Reyansh’s decision and later learns that it was Viren who was in the wrong.
Reyansh leaves, hoping that his departure will make Aradhana happy. In the next episode, Aradhana tells Viren that he’s wrong about Reyansh, Beena advises Reyansh to fight for his love, and Kimaya pleads with Aradhana to stop Reyansh from leaving the city. Reyansh leaves in a taxi.
